We have made a conscious choice to integrate sustainability into our daily work, step by step, by taking responsibility for our surroundings, promoting the mindful use of resources, supporting regional supply chains, and contributing to an
ongoing cultural dialogue.
The Sustainability Label South Tyrol ® Level 3 makes this commitment visible through clear criteria and concrete measures, which are constantly monitored and refined.
In our company, we base our decisions on values that are fundamental to the region: environmental awareness, quality, social responsibility, and a strong connection to our territory. These are the principles that guide our daily work.

Regional Products, Local Supply Chains & Energy Efficiency

One of our main priorities is reducing waste. At our breakfast buffet, we avoid single-use portions whenever possible, offering fresh products instead. We also make a conscious effort to minimise single-use packaging when purchasing goods, choosing resource-efficient solutions wherever possible.

We place great importance on the quality and regional origin of our food. We work closely with local producers and source many of our products from long-standing partners such as Sexten Dairy, Villgrater Butchery and Happacher Bakery – all family-run businesses based in Sexten, renowned for their outstanding quality and authentic regional products. By doing so, we support the local economy, reduce transport distances and offer our guests fresh, premium specialties sourced directly from our village and the surrounding region.

Sustainability also guides our approach to energy. All of our heating is supplied by the village district heating plant, which operates entirely on renewable energy sources. In addition, all of the electricity we use comes from 100% renewable sources. We continuously monitor and optimise our energy consumption to ensure that resources are used as efficiently as possible.
Through these measures, we combine genuine hospitality, high quality and environmental responsibility – for the benefit of our guests, our region and future generations.
